Pipeliner Series

In-pipeline maceration of process solids (no pumping capability).

In-line Macerator designed to give a controlled particle size with inlet and outlet flanges of various sizes and specifications. Inside the unit flow passes through holes in a shearplate which has a rotating headstock in contact with it. Solids are sheared off by the headstock as they pass through the holes producing smaller particles for further processing. Hole sizes typically 5mm - 15mm. Commonly used to protect pumps further down the process by conditioning the flow to a controlled particle size to suit.

Macipump Series

Off line maceration of process solids (with pumping capability).

Off-line Macerator designed to give a controlled particle size with integral pumping capability. Macipump is typically mounted on a reception vessel to receive the process solids with wash water (for example incorporating specialist mounting toes / tanks to ensure optimal performance and protection from Grit). Inside the unit flow passes through holes in a shearplate which has a rotating headstock in contact with it. Solids are sheared by the headstock as they pass through the holes providing controlled particles based on the hole size, typically 5mm - 15mm. An integrated centrifugal impeller pumps the effluent to the required location. Commonly used to macerate solids from the effluent flow and pump for further processing.
