Liquid separator de-watering and compacting unit.

The Lisep with integrated Lipactor is a self contained centrifugal de-waterer and compactor with pipe connections.

Pumped effluent enters a centrifugal sieve with 2mm/3mm perforations. Liquid and particles <2mm or 3mm return to flow via a decant line, solids are transferred to a compactor. The compactor compresses the solids removing additional liquid (to combined decant) before discharging the compressed 'slug' into the collection arrangement. The image to the side shows a wheelie bin arrangement, however a skip discharge or Carriskip are other typical arrangements. Returned decant liquid contains solids in suspension.

Process Input: Process effluent containing <10mm particle size.

Process Output: Compacted solids < 40% dry solids (by volume).

By-Product Produced: Process effluent with particles < screen hole size (typically 2mm).

Capacity Range: 1 - 24 l/s.

Typical Electric Motor Drive Size: Separator 1.5 to 7.5kW; Compactor 0.37 to 1.5kW.
